How many of you form users actually buy / read the magazine?

I don't buy it every month but if there are some interesting articles then I do.

    Selling my caravan

That would work but the price you would be given would tend to be more of a dealer retail price which would be higher than a private sale price. Have a look on sites such as ebay or adtrader or autotrader to get an idea what other caravans the same as yours are selling for.

    alko stabalizer and 4x4

It seems to depend upon the position of the spare wheel in relation to the tow ball. I have a Discovery which has a rear bumper and tow ball that protrude quite far so they are in line with the spare wheel, beacause of this the Alko fits on with no trouble at all. With the Freelander the spare...

Our previous van, a 92 Elddis Wisp, with a weight of 975kg had a tyre pressure of 36psi so yours sounds about right.

    bailey ranger 550 6 berth

Hi Tina The heating we have is the Truma type with the blown air switch on the heater and the control switch on the front bed bunk, it has a black dial numbered 1 - 9 and settings of 500w, 1000w and 2000w. After speaking to the dealer and a bit of investigation, I have found that like you, I...

    bailey ranger 550 6 berth

When we collected our Bailey, the dealer gave us a detailed demo of everything and he explained that the water system is pressurised so the pump may go on and off occassionally to maintain pressure. Certainly ours does this and not always when the tap is turned on. He did go on to say that if...

    Disco v Mondeo TDDi

I have only been caravanning for just over a year so have only ever towed with our Disco TD5 and have often wondered how a 'normal' car would be in comparison so the comments you make are interesting. When I hitch up our van to the Disco, the suspension does not move - does the nose weight of a...

    freedom of speech (insurance)

I was previously insured by this company and when I first telephoned to get a quote, I have to say that they clearly explained the 13 monthly payments to me. I was a little concerned after reading on another forum site that the companys excess was a tad high - being a percentage of the claim -...

    bailey ranger 550 6 berth

Having just taken delivery of ours, I have to agree that its excellent value for money compared with other makes, the main thing that attracted us was the fixed bunk layout. We are very pleased with it.

Thinking of buying a Bailey Ranger 5 berth

We got our 6 berth 550/6 Ranger 3 weeks ago and are very pleased with it, loads of space and the fixed end bunks are excellent for the kids, blown heating works extremely well (once the temperature sensor was plugged into the heater properly) Appears to be well constructed and good to tow.
