Re Site Prices - excellent idea

Thanks Rob, you are quite right I do not intend to cancel my yearly subscription. The others among you who thought I was going to cancel are quite right I would not then be able to use the CL's which would be foolish. For the record the CL owners do not pay anything, it is puely one mans work...

    CL's on DVD

I have just bought a very comprehensive selection of DVD's from WWW.armcher.com. There are 15 site on each disk. I have always been put off from CL's because you don't know untill you get there what it is like. I have heard some horror sories about mud baths etc. So now you can view the sites...

Re Site Prices - excellent idea

We too are fed up of paying high prices for Club Sites. When away we always have a drive around to see if there is a CL that we like nearby. We have just paid £50 for a very comprehensive set of CL's on DVD from www.armcher.com. There are 18 DVD's with 15 sites on each. We haven't had to drive...

Sites where you can take dogs into pubs

You will find most village pubs in the North, Derbyshire and Yorkshire have dogs. Our fav is the Wheatsheaf at Ingleton. Fantastic home cooked food all fresh, no frozen chips here.

    Silly touring stories

Scotland has it for us. 3 years ago we had made the long journey from Lincolnshire to Scotland. We arrived at the site. We were shown to our pitch and my husband was guided on. The chap was so picky that we should be exactly where he wanted us. Having put up the awning I was putting in the...

    Knaersborough/Chatsworth Park/Low Park Wood

We love Chatsworth it is our favourite. The site road is fine, we take a twin axle van. Just don't arrive untill after 1pm. The site is fab. Chatsworth farm shop is great but so is Armstrongs the butchers in Bakewell. We tend to get stocked up well in Bakewell, we use the local bakers etc. so we...

Bainland counrty park or Kelling heath?

I have been to both. Kellingh Heath was too big for us and much to busy. The toilets where not kept clean, which is a shame because one block was new. I would choose Bainland for ourselves. A lot smaller and quieter depends on what you want. There are fab cycle routes around Bainland through...

    CL's on DVD

I was given this web site in reply to a post re Cl's. WWW.armcher.com. I purchased 2 DVD's for £10 wth 15 CL's on each. Fantastic. There is not enough information given about CL's. This is a brilliant idea. I just want more.

Can you suggest a CL in Dorset

I find there is never enough information available on CL's. We stayed at a CL in North Yorkshire for the first time in October. We have always used Club sites, but funds where low and we fancied the break. How wonderfull no gangs of kids and noisey neighbours, just peace and quiet. So this...

    Lincoln

Hartsholme is small and cramped, I would go to Bainland myself.
