Hi Cheryl,I'm in the same boat as you.my husband died last July.I've towed 3 times since, but gone to same site,with family and friends.But would like to go further afield and try solo.Just been on caravan club manovering course.Hopin to get off for a week in derbyshire after bank holiday.

Towbar bar was fitted by dealer when i purchased car.Asked if they could put towbar off old car on new one, but was told they couldn't.Towbar has to be registered to car.Thought they'd fitted single one,till he showed me new fitting extention.Local dealer fitted one on other car.

Hi all,can anyone advise me.Have just obtained the new sorento, and noticed side mirrors are slightly bigger than before.Do i still have to attach towing mirrors?.will be towin an elldis shamel.Could do without,something less to think about.LOL.My husband passed way last July, so trying my best...

anyone got any comments on towing courses.My husband passed away 3 weeks ago (52 yr old).I dont want to part with our van which we've had for 4 years.Thinkin of doing next available one,brother in law says he'll take me out for a run,but might feel a bit more confident if i attend course. One...

thanks for your comments,but 2 days after my husband asked me to post this topic he collapsed and died (age 52).At this moment in time i want to have a go at towing the van.So if i get enough courage i will hopfully visit some of the sites mentioned. thanks lyn

just had 10 days at berwick then edinburgh, so map & books out for next years main outing.looking at oban area anyone been to north ledaig?if so, how far is it to oban. also which is the best way to get there without using the A82 (not keen on the loch lomand road) thanks lyn

Have noticed a musty smell at the rear of our van.we have an elldis shamel with rear seats.some times you can smell it if van has been closed for a while.have scrubbed under seat area,smell goes, then you get a wiff.husband wonders if its from waste pipes underneath or could it be damp.can...
