How do you carry four bicycles?

If you take of the front wheels and turn the handlebars sideways you should be able to fit at least 3 of them in the boot, I can get four adult bikes in my trooper this way

Willingcott, Chivenor or Riverside in N.Devon?

Hi, we went to willingcot last year , the sites nice but the shops not open very much and it doesn't stock very much either , but the biggest problem is the noise from the club on the static site next door, cos of the smoking ban they open all the doors so that folk outside smoking can hear the...

    Suggestions for October Half Term.

Andrew, we (hubby+2 kids) use yellowcraigs often at all times of the year, it,s level, with a good shower block and a nice play park , there are sheltered areas and open, grassy pitches too but there are also plenty of hard standings, it,s a level easy walk to the beach and it,s a mile to the...

    Hollybank caravan park , Warrington

Hi Ewan , we stayed there for a stop over 2 years ago on our way down to cornwall ,it's basic but clean , it caters mostly for workers , we saw a lot of people going out at 8am in suits and the like, so its quite quiet and not a lot of road noise

    Cornwall and the Eden Project

The cc site at st mawes is ideal it's less than 20 miles away , it's a lovely site , we were there for 2 weeks last year and went to the eden project the only advice is avoid st austell at anywhere near rush hour , it's a bit of a bottle neck.

forgot about the mirrors , I have a towing mirror but in all honesty it doesn't give any better a view than the troopers own enormous wing mirrors

    Isuzu Trooper 1990

Hi Martin, I have used a trooper for 4 years to tow my twin axle and its brilliant, most of the time you just need 2 wheel drive and its a litle slower at accelerating , the only suggestion would be if your reversing on wet grass use 4wheel drive and let the car di it by itself (I know that...

    Maragowan CC site (Killin)

Hi , royston sorry for the delay, I,ve been to yellowcraigs at all times of the year and the only time theres midges is later in the year in the evenings , the east coast is not so bad for the blighters, the groung is sandy so if there is a lot of rain it drains really quick.

    Maragowan CC site (Killin)

hello royston , I've never been to maragowan but yellowcraigs is a favourite for us , we have been many times. The facilities are up to the usual cc site standards , the site is divided in to different areas by sandy banks ,some areas are formal hard standings and some are grassy where the...

Caravan parking in Motorway Service Areas

folk will never get the message , on the way home from Cornwall on the M5 northbound at Cullompton services the only empty caravan slot was taken up by a POLICE CAR with crew who watched me pull in, and out, then park with the HGVs, and only then did they pull out of the slot
