Abbey Vogue 495 brake bulb

Hi guys
I have a 2007 abbey vogue 495 caravan and need to change the brake bulb. I have taken the 4 holding screws out and this releases the light unit but don’t see how to remove the bulbs. Can anyone help unable to split the unit to gain access to the bulbs.

Thanks

Hello Rediac,
I'm not familiar with Abbey Vogue light units nor have I seen the handbook,I can only go from your descriptions.
First of all it's unusual for the light unit securing screws outside the light lense,so I'm finding difficulty picturing your description of having the light unit in your hand.
That aside,if there are no securing screws holding the lense onto the back plate then I can only suggest the lense is a press fit.Try gently pressing the top and bottom of the lense unit and extracting the lense unit from the back plate.
Let me know how you get on.

Hi
When you remove the light unit the bulbs are on a bar. There are 2 screws on the back securing the bar to the unit, when you remove the screws the bar comes away along with the bulbs giving access to them.
Thanks for all replies
