Alko system not working

Hi there, my alko system does not start up when hooked up. Unfortunately the cable came loose white touring and the cable was damaged. Although the wiring was re joined by an electrician and when hooked up to car no alko noise nor red or green led light came on. However, all the lights indicators, emergency, right and left indicator brake, lights and reverse light working fine. So it's only the alko system not firing up. How does one reset the alko system? Please help.

But if there is power for all the lights working indicator, reverse, brakes, just not alko is this a separate fuse?
Should have a separate fuse, that wire is basically a direct connection to the vehicle battery and deliberately separate from all the others

The set up on my car actually has three fuses although only two are used. One for the permanent feed which will power your ATC and the other for the switched feed via a voltage sensing relay.

The Alko uses the permanent 12v supply cable and its associated earth return - the road lighting uses different cables within the thick connecting cable, including their associated earth return.

You, or your electrician, need to start by checking the permanent 12v supply at the car socket - Pin 4 (green cable) if it's 12S socket or pin 9 (orange cable) if its 13-pin socket
