Alko towing hitch compatibility

just bought a new towcar equipped with an Alko stabiliser compatable towball, as i dont have an Alko stabiliser do i need to change the towball for a conventional type, my van has an Alko chassis but I use a snakemaster stabiliser?

You will be OK with the Alco as the tow ball is exactly the same size as a conventional one The only differance is that the Alco sticks out further to the rear of the vehicle in order to stop the alko stabiliser catching the rear bumper and indeed to let it fit on the tow ball.So there is no need to change it.
