Battery box on new swift group caravan

I have just bought a new Ace jubilee caravan. I struggle to open the battery box door. It seems as though the two clips do not come down far enough to release off the catches. If I twist the door slightly it opens, but it is a struggle. Is because it is new or is it fitted badly. Any ideas.

I had a similar problem on my 2006 Swift Challenger. Try pushing the top of the door inwards at the same time as you push in the two release buttons. This helps the two catches to release.
