The Lidl trolley jack is the one I had
Where the handle slots in it can be rotated sideways(see my earlier pic) to make it easy to have the jack in line with the caravan etc and still pump from the side
This improves stability and reduces the tendency to tip under load a lot
Mine broke because one of the clips on the lifting arm came off unnoticed and this allowed strain on the body etc so its worth checking from time to time
Its also usefull under the A frame with the inboard JW when it gets stuck on hooking up
I bought the Kojack for the van but replaced the Lidl one for use at home as its uch a convenient unit

The new one I just bought claims to have a lifting range of 135-340mm. When I tested it last night it easily lifted both wheels of our Ace Supreme off the ground with a good inch of space below the tyres. It hadn't reached the end of its travel by then. The one I bought doesn't have the swivel type lever. It is fixed, pointing backwards in traditional trolley jack style.
Forgive me if I am stating the obvious but have you checked that your trolley jack is fully topped up with oil? I have an older cheapo one in the garage which leaked some oil over the years and it got to the point where it was only travelling half way before it stopped. Once topped up, normal service was resumed!

Hydraulic jacks all come with different ranges of lift, realistically a cheap jack like i have, netto or aldi, can't remember now, will probably have the shorter range, but i have never had any problems with it, looks just like j. watsons.
The only negative i have found is the lift action is in the form of a arc, rather than a straight lift, which a bottle jack gives.

The Kojack gives a straight lift but I didn't find the slight arc lift a problem on the Lidl jack

As as result of these posts I ordered the "Carajack" from Riversway Leisure Wednesday and received it yesterday Thursday a trip of about 200miles. Consider this good service and will use RL again. Jack came complete with brackets and all hardware incl. nyloc nuts and spare bracket spirit levels. The jack is in a dedicated plastic carry case and on opening this found evidence of oil leak. Contacted RL this am who will exchange next week. I would also say the instructions are a complete dogs breakfast with none of the numbered key components tying up with the descriptions. The product is branded "Streetwize" who are the importer of this product of typical Asian manufacture out of tooling that is due for refurbish. However at
An important point for anyone with a motor mover fitted behind the wheel is that you cannot access the Alco jacking point.
I sawed the thread off a 14mm bolt, then had a piece of about 4mm x 30mm steel welded across the head.The bolt then replaces the original peg upon which the cup rotates. This fits up inside the Alko bracket.It javascript:void(0);works very well.

Along with paul i ordered the carajack from riverside. Delivered next day which i was impressed with.
However found the carry case damaged, and the jack took over 100 pump actions to get to full height! Maybe low on oil too?
Phoned them this morning and they are sending another tuesday, so again very good service, sham about the product.
