Caravan Leisure Battery

The Battery on my old van 575, i had put onto our 875 coachman.
575 single mover, 875 twin mover, my mistake mover works for about 10 mins then discharges, it tight to turn it on our drive but do-able after a few plug ins to the mains charger.

Can anybody recommend a good battery, we normally stay on fully serviced pitches, so its just to get motor movers working properley.

On your last service on the 575, IF you still have the service details, what did it say about the state of the battery. ?
Our last service states the battery only 70 % good. 7 years old now.
I use the Halfords AGM battery, get the Halfords club card first gives you a big discount,
The batteries are Tanya, I think.

I bought a new Tanya 120 ah leisure battery direct.

Pros and cons. Cheaper but not so easy to return if there’s a problem. Best retain their packing and transit plugs. That said this is the third battery from them over the years . No problems.

We also found out the hard way that batteries for single axle are not so great on twin axle motor movers. We had to sell a 6 month old battery and buy a higher AH battery. WE chose Numax.

Another vote for tayna.co.uk. Excellent service, 24 hour delivery and best prices. I'm on my fourth car battery and first leisure battery with them!

Just to add, that although we had an issue with a car battery and considering it was a real hassle returning the item, we dumped that battery. Never buy cheap! However we have since bought again from Tayna.
