Caravan sites in New Forest?

Hi, we are looking for a caravan site near the new forest. we will be going during the summer holidays (july/aug)we are prepared to pay up to £18 a night. we are looking for a site with entertainment.

Try this site, http://www.shorefield.co.uk/forestedge/index.asp we've stayed at oakdene a mile down the road and found it really good though it's been 3 or 4 years since we were there last so not sure about price

Try forest holidays sites which are Forestry commision. Good value. We like Ashurst next to a pub and Roundhill. No hookups.

Entertainment:-

Brilliant entertainment when the Donkeys and horses ransacked the tent pitched accross the way from us.

Apart from that just miles and miles of forest tracks and heathland and acres of space for the kids on thier bikes. The wildlife in abundance does not wear hoodies and baseball caps.

Your not even allowed to pitch with 15 or 20m or so of the next van / tent.
