caravan storage in france

we are thinking of storing our caravan in france near to the eurotunnel terminal at calais. we currently have our caravan stored on a cassoa site in the uk, but there doesn't seem to be a similar organisation in france.

does anyone know of any storage sites in the calais area?

also, any ideas about the possibility of getting a Lunar Lexon serviced in france?

Great idea - however, how will you insure it. We tried to leave our caravan last year at a storage depot for six weeks in France and could not find adequate insurance.

thanks for the reply - hadn't got as far as thinking about the insurance yet. will look into it.

i wonder if it is possible to get annual caravan insurance with a french insurance company?

Someone who posts on another forum recommends the following agency, who insure caravans stored on his site in the Loire:

"Alain Montagnon Agence in Dinard. They have both English and English speaking staff who are very helpful. Give them a call on 00 33 2 96 87 21 21."
