Caravan tyres needed ...Advice please

We have just had our Hymer Nova 530 serviced, I new when I bought it that it had not done a lot of work / miles, every thing is ok except I have been told that it needs new tyre's they are 195/70/15 the ones that are on are Dunlop, I know buying tyre is a minefield, ( never bought one for a caravan before ) but I don't want to get it wrong, the van max gross is 1600kg

Id be grateful of any advice please !!

They have a steel band in I think ?

You'll need tyres of Load Index 103 or higher - LI 103 gives 875kg which is adequate for 1600kg plus the recommended 10% safety value.

Internet tyre sellers like mytyres.co.uk can supply 195/70 15 commercial-rated tyres with displayed Load Index of 104/102 which is adequate for your 1600kg caravan. The two figures relate to single/dual use where dual is twin rear wheels like trucks.
