Heather, I take exception to your view that only 'oldies' complain about nuisance dogs. We have caravanned near to a couple with two yappy dogs and never complained about them. The warden was, apparently, informed but by a couple in their early 20's who wanted, quite naturally, a peaceful holiday. I think your comment was out of order.

Hi Tina

Sorry, I know this reply is late! Unfortunately, I have never suffered from cat fleas so cannot comment on them. However, a flea is a flea from whatever source.

If you are considering using one of the screw-in type of dog restraint (which I think are great) remember to put a heavy duty screwdriver in the boot. Some sites have such hard ground that you will have great trouble securing one. We use the screwdrive (or anything else that will fit) through the top, crosswise, and it will give you better purchase. Even then you will need some muscle!

Airborne diseases don't just happen outside the garden!!! Airborne is airborne so, by your reckoning, no dog with insufficient vaccination should be allowed outdoors at all.

I took my Cairn Terrier out (albeit under my arm) so that she could socialise with other people, not dogs. Socialising is a very important part of puppy training.
Hi

I am saying that a dog shouldn't be taken out until it is fully vaccinated yes, all dogs should be fully vaccinated it is part of being a responsible dog owner.
