Chertsey site - going into London for a couple of visits???

Hi - have just booked the CCC site in Chertsey with the view to going into London on the train for a couple of days. Has anyone done this - we are new to caravanning. Any words of wisdom for us??? Thankyou

Fiona, I've done this several times, the last being spring BH week this year. We went by train from Chertsey to Waterloo three days running.

When we visited the site had just been refurbished and the grass seed hadn't yet germinated so it was a bit bare and the ehu points were a long way from the hardstanding pitches so we had to borrow a long lead from the site and leave a
