CL's on or near a golf course

According to the CC there are some CL's that are actually on the golf course (not literally of course). Now there are hundreds to wade through to find them in the book. Does anybody know of a quicker way to find these? or how many there are?

Many thanks

Ian, if you go onto the CC website, get to CLs, you will find you can specify your requirments and then search for matching sites by county or major town. Not being a golfer, i have not checked for this particular feature but am fairly confident it is there.

If you want a nice quiet site rather than CL, have a look at our local one - Wincanton Racecourse. There is a course in the centre of the race track and lots of other good things to do in Somerset Dorset and Wiltshire.

Down M6 M5 take the turn off to Street and Galstonbury and then approach Wincanton from the northwest. Towing through Wincanton town itself a bit problematic.

Sounds lovely Ray

The problem is distance. If I'm going away for a long time I'll go abroad. For a weekend its a bit too far, especially when I've got wales, the lake district, yorkshire and derbyshire to explore.

I've been down there many times but not with the 'van yet. Maybe one day

Hi

Not a CL but there's a cc site on Anglesy were the wardens have organised golfing days if memory serves me right, there's a golf course nearby. Also think the cc associated site Min y Don near Harlech has a golf course very near, I think across the road.

Hope this helps
