I cant see any other thread about dealership recommendations so thought i would ask; does anyone have any experiences or recommendations for caravan dealerships?

Im looking to buy one this year.

Im based in Yorkshire and the nearest one to me is Adwick Caravans - https://www.adwickcaravans.co.uk/ - has anyone bought from here?

Otherwise do you have any other recommendations for Yorkshire dealerships? Or will travel further for the right caravan :-D

Trying to keep local is a good idea. Unlike cars and with few exceptions caravan warranty work is via the supplying dealership.

Our Daughter travelled from Milton Keynes to Granthams 2 years ago and bought an immaculate 10 year old Swift caravan. Done a good deal, a lot less than other dealers were asking for the same age and model caravan. Also gave her 12 month warranty and first year service free if they wanted to return, whereas other dealers were only offering 3 months. Caravan has been faultless to date.
If you are looking to buy brand new then buy as local as possible.

Do you have first hand knowledge of your recommendation?
I ask because the public reviews are a bit of a mixed bag!

Whilst of no use to the OP down South I can recommend Chipping Sodbury Caravans and Swindon Caravan Centre. Both have won top marks with PCv Dealer of the year.
I have dealt with both for over 30 years and still find their customer care very good.

Many years ago, we went to a caravan dealer in Swindon that was part of a chain and were not impressed. Brand new caravan had parts removed from it. On entering the caravan we found a pool of water inside as the door had been left open during a heavy rain shower. We noticed the same with other caravans on the forecourt. We had driven 80 miles to view the caravan in question. We left. Not sure if the place is the same that DD is referring to?

There used to be a dealer Barry Heather Caravans next to John Toomer Garden Centre.
Swindon Caravans has two other branches, Oxford and Reading.
It wouldn’t surprise me in the least that the Dealer cannibalises parts from new unsold caravans to look after their existing customers.
As I found out recently getting parts from a manufacturer is a nightmare.
I’m still waiting to hear from Bailey about my door hinges!
Will chase them now, the third chaser🙀
