I fully appreciate what you are saying. It's alright to use trade names as generic terms in ordinary conversation, but here we are talking about a written agreement where the meaning of every word counts.
On the dictionary definition the OP's vehicle is not a caravanette. That is not a legal definition but could be quoted in a court case to help in any dispute.
