dents in my new van

Got home last night to discover someone had threw stones at my new swift not to mutch damage two small dents the size of a finger nail on the side can any one tell me is this hard to repair

hi its easier and cheaper to cover with the small reflectors that can be bought from caravan shops only you should know they are there, hope this helps.h.

Colin,

Why cant you use reflectors.

Its certainly not against the law to compleatly cover the side of your van with reflectors if you want.

A lot of LGVs have relective writing on the sides so that they can be seen pulling out of junctions in the dark.

Hi Colin, sorry to hear about your bad luck. I have been faced with a similar problem on my van however slightly more serious, I have some small pinholes !! I have been on this and other forums asking for advice on how to repair them since caravan dealers seem to want to replace a complete side for (what would be considered very minor damage on a car). Anyway, with dents there are several mobile repairers advirtising a localised dent repair on aluminum bodys, I think its marketed under 'smart repair system' if you search out Caravan Body repair on the net you should find them
