Fading carpet

I've got a 2005 Coachman Amara in which the carpet is fading in places. It apppears from the warranty handbook that it is not excluded from the warranty but my dealer reckons it is.It mentions trim and similar finishes but then that isn't a description of the carpet or upholstery. Thing is, I've just had my sink taps replaced under warranty so why not the carpet? Am I right or is the dealer right? I've e-mailed Coachman to ask them too. If the same thing happened to my car then it would be replaced. Can anyone help?

Domestic carpets have an exclusion in their warranty for "shading" through wear - I don't see why caravans should be different.

Cars aren't comparable - you don't walk on them.

Good luck.
