Florence 2008 - The Story Begins

Booked our 2 week Florence Holiday from Jul 19th 2008 today. Found that the cheapest priced ferry was the Norfolk Line £128 (£98 the week before). P&O, even with the package option was £158 and we were smoked out last year. No Smoking on Norfolk Line. We are staying at Norcenni Girasole Club booked through the CC. The best previews of the site was Eurocamp with a pretty swish video and plenty of info, this helped sell the holiday to our son 14yrs. Was advised that the pitch sizes might be tight for our outfit (Bailey Bretange 7.25m) but was like this when we went to Garda in 2001 with our Bessy. Looking at the route it appears that Belguim, Luxembourgh switzerland italy is the best route with the least amount of tolls. It would be really good if threads could come from this post to update me and provide a good read for people going to Italy.

paul.

Can i ask how much the site was with CC.

Upto now norcenni is our favourite site, although we have never took the caravan that far.

What are your plans? you say two weeks? We both work so can only have two weeks, this means only 10 days on site as we estimate two day each way.

any info would be really helpfull.
