Sorry everyone but can we cross our names off the list?

I don't think we shall be around much longer on the caravan front as van and towcar up for sale to fund house purchase - don't want to have to sell but need somewhere to live, getting a bit desperate now!

When we go to France we use the Mitchelin camp site book , we have never booked a site yet , when we arrive we wander around the site and if we don't like it we move on.

We don't book when we go on our own either, but there were plans for a PC Forum meet to take place in France and if there had been enough interest and participants, it would have been advisable to book ahead.

The few times we have felt the need to leave sites early have been when rallies arrive and fill an out of season up. If you do go ahead please post it so that we can avoid it.
