Gas shortage

In the Milton Keynes area, similar a lack of 6kg ? propane.
I have seen lots of self refill kits for 13 to 6 kg bottles. For sale on Ebay.
Totally dodgy.
Head down , inccoming.
Edit, I recieved a message from a friend in Malaysia about the increase of the cost of LPG gas, so not just here.

Update on this.
Our dealer has now had a large delivery of Calor bottles.
Calor told him that they are now making deliveries to dealers as a catch up exercise BUT they are still limited by supply issues.

Pretty much every fuel station around me has a cage that is fully stocked with 6kg Propane and a mix of patio gas.

Local caravan dealer - none

Round here, people need to actually look around for bottles rather than relying on caravan shops!

I bought a 6kg Calor Gas propane on Wednesday from the on site shop at Castlerigg Hall Caravan and Camping park in the Lake District.
They had plenty of them in stock

However no chance of a Calorlite as only steel ones available. The 3.9kg steel Calor is supposed to be the same weight as the full 6kg Calorlite!

Is there any procedure to retain the "right" to a lighter cylinder when exchanging a Calorlite for a steel 6kg - I do still have my original rental agreement although that specifies Aluminium cylinders, which were Calor's lightweight offering before Calorlite, both of which had higher initial rental prices than steel.
