Geist caravans

I have been looking at the Geist caravans at a local dealer. I was impressed with the build quality and general appearance of the vans. Last years models had a V-Tech swing chassis with shock absorbers fitted. Does anyone know much about these chassis as most vans seem to use the ALKO.

Thers do not seem to be many Geist vans about - don't think I have seen any on sites this year so far. I wonder if anyone has one of these vans and what they think about them generally.

Hi Graeme, all the Explorer Group vans (Elldis, Compass & Buccaneer) are built on the V-Tech Swing chassis. Not towed one of these vans but the tow tests I have read rate the stability of the chassis highly.

We had a BPW chassis on our Dethleffs and it was a very well made and designed piece.
