Hello to all.

Hi, we've been caravaning since 2006, during that time we've had three caravans from a delightful entry level five berth 1999 Elddis Crown Regent to a fixed bed four berth 2005 Swift Signature 16/4 that served us well for the next thirteen plus years touring all over the UK and once on the continent until this year when we discovered an excellent 2016 Coachman 560 VIP after much looking. We'll look forward to sharing our caravan experiences whether good or bad!
Many thanks for having us. Kind regards. Slowtow.

Welcome Slowtow, nice caravan the Coachman 560 VIP.
You should be able to help others with your experience.

Welcome to the Forum, nice caravan. What do you tow it with?

Hi, and thanks we are very pleased with the Coachman.
Our tow car is a 2016 Hyundai Tucson 2.0 litre CRDI SE NAV 4WD manual.

We towed the Coachman down to Charmouth recently and the car felt very assured on either winding country roads as well as the cut and thrust that is motorway driving.

As a couple we travel light nowadays especially after clearing out all of the accumulated clutter from our previous Swift.
Its amazing the amount of stuff that came out of it leading us to having a strict rule on only carrying what is essential.

Admittedly the Swift was a reluctant sale, but we met a lovely young couple who fell in love with it on first viewing. After we had demonstrated everything to them which took quite a bit of time it somehow felt wrong to hand over the keys and manuals lol!

We were very fond of our old 'van knowing every inch of it so it felt a bit odd and cold switching to something different after such a long time, but I'm sure in time the Coachman packed with all its modern conveniences will win our affections too.

Bye for now. ST.
