High winds

David925,

any strong wind can impact on towing anything. If you do not feel confident that the outfit is stable enough at a comfortable speed then pull over and stop as soon as possible.Even huge trucks feel strong side winds.I do not think a figure could be safely quoted to cover all outfits and road conditions. We have been in some very high winds that have been dealt with using a slower speed and then there are winds that are lighter but come from a different direction and we have had to pull over. The very first time in France we had a baptism of fire.Powerful gusts and driving rain lead to us holding up in the services between 2 HGVs for shelter.HIMSELF is a retired"steering wheel attendant"so has great respect for the power of Mother Nature!!

Nice and easy does it MOST of the timexxx
