Hyundai Santa Fe mudflaps.

May I request help from other Mk2 Santa Fe's owners. The mudflaps that came fitted to my SF offer little or no protection from stone damage to the front of the caravan. Has anyone had the same problem and managed to find a remedy. On a Kia Sorento forum they suggest fitting Vauxhall Frontera mudflaps to the Sorento, but I'm not sure if they would fit the Santa Fe?

The Frontera flaps were cheap , below

I have access to thick rubber conveyor belt the could be used. I am a bit reluctant to go with that, it would look quite ugly I feel.

HI! David why don,t you leave the originals on and buy a cheap nylon door mat from poundland and cut to size to extend your original m/flaps, if you look at the new buses/lorries that are going about that is what they are using (looks very like it to me ).If doing it i would suggest using large washers and small bolts to attach the said nylon extensions .might work . would only cost about

I'm with Jo Anne, never had a problem wth our 08 plate SF. When daylight arrives tomorow I will double-check the front of the van!
