my solution to all this madness is simple
get back to good old fashioned Common sense Rules,Laws and Justice, and scrap things like the OTT Health and Safety Legislation

Looking back through my posts on this emotive subject it has occured to me that I do in fact come across as a bit,well- snotty I suppose. I mean no offence to either yourself or anyone else that I may have upset. Most of my remarks are with my tongue firmly in my cheek but I sincerely apologise if I have caused offence. My only explanation is that I enjoy a good debate but because when I speak I normally have a very strong Black Country accent, so when I write things down I tend to put things in more formal terms than is strictly neccessary. ( I haven't leared to use the spell check either)
I dont want to incur the wrath of the moderators either so I think I'll quit posting on this particular subject

If you are proud of being British,English or whatever you choose and care for our country, culture and history you can not by deffinition be a racist as all of these are founded on hundreds of years of immigration , be it invited or not, from people from all over the world.

1988: Piper Alpha oil rig ablaze
A fire on a North Sea oil rig is feared to have claimed the lives of most of those on board.
The fire is believed to have started after explosions at about 2230 BST (2130 GMT) on the Piper Alpha drilling platform, 120 miles (193km) off the north-east coast of Scotland.
Helicopters and boats were immediately sent out to rescue the oil workers in an operation co-ordinated by the Aberdeen coastguard.
Pilots reported seeing an "inferno" up to 350ft (107m) high and a platform wrenched apart.
It is thought approximately 225 men were working on the rig owned by Occidental Oil.
Safety inspection
Survivors are being airlifted to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary - some are said to be seriously injured.
Most of those who have been rescued so far said they survived by sliding down pipes or jumping hundreds of feet into the sea which was covered in burning oil.
The Piper Alpha platform is the largest and oldest platform in the North Sea oilfield.
It was last inspected two weeks ago but last week there was a small fire on the rig.
Since drilling began in the North Sea in the 1970s there have been 300 deaths on Britain's 123 oil installations, often in accidents caused by bad weather.

Frightened customers fled for their lives as a big, temporary partition crashed to the ground at Tesco Extra in Danestone.
About 40ft long and 30ft high, the wall peeled from its base at the busy store's entrance.
Eye witnesses called it a miracle that no one was hurt or possibly even killed.
Today angry shoppers criticised the store's security staff and management for a slow response.
But a Tesco spokeswoman defended the company's actions.
Health and Safety Executive officials were expected to launch an investigation into the incident at the Laurel Drive store.

Couldn't agree more Frank. When I saw them marching and demonstrating, faces covered, with placards saying Death to the West, Islamise Britain, Behead Non Believers and nothing being done about it. When so called British subjects blow totally innocent people, including women and children, to smithereens with no remorse from those who were caught. When they openly preach hatred in the mosques and out in the street. Yes Frank, it does spread hatred. I couldn't agree more and you ask if I have an answer, no I don't because it is one sided. If I went out into the street and as much as whispered racist comments I would be locked up and the book thrown at me but because of the fear of a backlash from these communities they are treated with kid gloves. Oh you are so right with your hatred comment :O)
It is a good suggestion that all new people to this country should play for the English cricket team as we would probably be able to select a winning side. Do you think it would work with football too?

Lord B , I once worked with a Maori . She sold a few cars but lost a lot of people at the "meet and greet" stage.
