Jacking points

My T@B caravan does not come with jacking points. If I have to change a wheel where is the safest place to jack it? Is it safest to jack it on the chassis or the axle?

Hi,

under the axle point is safest as the chassis is not so strong. If its an Alko chassis you can buy a side lift jack which comes with two jacking brackets that bolt into pre-drilled holes. The Kojack uses a similar principal and its a scissor jack.

Thanks for the response. The T@B does have Alko chassis but it does not have the pre-drilled holes for the jacking brackets. I have looked into the Alko and Kojack systems but drilling holes in the chassis is not recommended.
