LEEK CAMPING AND CARAVAN CLUB SITE.

We had a walk round it and talked to some residents

We then went across the road and did likewise at the CC site.

We are leaving in about 2 hours for the CC site !!

The fact that we have 4 CC site night vouchers and the more friendly approach reported by the residents swayed our choice.

The site itself seemed well run and clean with plenty of shade but as we were told don't expect to wash the caravan if you have one(Its pouring down at the moment so that wouldn't have been a problem!)

The 3 Horseshoes pub does a good carvery,there is a nice walk with nature reserve round Tittisworth Reservoir nearby and Leek market is on Wednesday .The Peak District is breathtaking and Buxton is worth a visit.

Bakewell market is on Monday
 
Thanks John, For the info. I hadn,t realized that the CC had a site so near. Will have a look around it when we go there. Thanks.
