Ok forum peeps.

Our thetford is still not working checks done

Wires

Attachments

Have fitted a new system bought a new battery.

So whats wrong with the stinky thing anyone have any ideas at all?

Have you tried the Thetford website? (http://www.thetford-europe.com/) They have a lot of useful maintenance advice.

I guess it'll be a question of finding the flushing pump and putting a meter on it when you flush - if there's power then the pump is stuffed - if there isn't you'll need to follow the circuit back to find the problem.

Or a recurring problem on electrical submersible pumps is that they stick / stall in one position and refuse to turn.

Removing the pump from the tank and giving it a sharp tap often frees the pump rotor - otherwise replacement time.

It was a new water pump fitted on the weekend.

We are at a loss.
Hi Smiley, If the fuses are fine, the pump has been replaced, then the problem will probably one of the two switches within the body of the toilet, or on a couple of occasions i have found a bad contact in the cable joint under the toilet body, you can find the location of these parts on the Thetford website, but the first thing you need to check is that your getting 12volt to the toilet!!
