Low Wattage Toaster

As I look for a Low Wattage Toaster in the Caravan Shop they are around £22 - £24
Tesco have one , a two slice toaster 750 watt at £8.
Looks Identical.

If it is marketed for a caravan it will always be dearer, although to be fair Tesco will be buying these things in large numbers and so will have the benefit of bulk buying and larger stores, so they will always be cheaper. Quality may also be a factor, but not having seen either, I do not know.

I’ve had the Tesco budget range toaster for 4 years or so.

It cost all of £6.00, it is low wattage and works just fine for us.

We had the low wattage toaster, but found that it took a long time to toast and it seems to dry out the slice more than necessary without really toasting it. Might as well use the grill under the hob.
We then bought a normal Tesco toaster and have not looked back. We have even been able to sue it on sites with 6amp only. Our kettle is only 800w.

We've got the Tesco one as well. It actually works better than the one we have at home which cost ten times as much - but to be fair its 12years old.
