Nissan Terrano

Just seen a 54 plate 5 door Terrano 2.7 td for sale at £7800. It seems an awful lot of car for the money compared to other similar sized vehicles. Is it a bargain or an I missing something here. Any comments appreciated thanks.

If it is automatic, dont touch it with a barge pole.

Im sorry for repeting my self on here BUT 1/3 of the radiator is covered by the auto gear box cooler. 1/3 of the rad covered by the air con unit, leaving 1/3 of the rad to cool the engine.

Towing last November when I came to a hill the temp gauge went right up to the red.

I have just bought a Hyundai Terracan.

If you log on to Hyundai.co.uk/used cars & follow the links you will get onto the dealers sites.

I have just bought a 2 year old on a 55 plate, 7500 miles

Hi have had two Terrano's the 2.7 and the 3.0 and would definately recommend the 3L diesel. The difference is outstanding. I have just changed mine which was an 03 with 32k 5 door for a Pathfinder and the dealer has it on sale for 6999.

In all the years of caravaning the only problem I had was a nasty smell of burning oil with the 2.7 when reaching the top of a hill. No problems whatsoever with the 3.0

also have a 3L SWB 53 plate and had no bother at all.excellent for towing.keep away from 2.7 i was told 3L's far better than the 2.7, both power and fuel economy. also more reliable

Thanks for the replies guys. Will stick with my Mondeo I think - the road tax increases announced in the budget have made up my mind.
