Oradour sur Glane

It is our intention to visit this village next September. It is where a German regiment massacred an entire village towards the end of the 2nd World War. There is a Municipal campsite at Nantiat but it maybe closed when we go. Has anyone other ideas for suitable sites near to the village?

We went September last year, an interesting place to visit.

Stayed at the Municipal campsite at St Brice sur Vienne.

We were the only people there, site 8 mile from Oradour Sur Glane
