Petrol Stations in France

We are going to the Vendee this year to a site near La Roche Sur Yon. We'll be travelling from Caen to Rennes then Nantes and on to a site near La Roche Sur Yon. The roads we're thinking of are N814 A84 N136 N137 N844 A83. Refueling can be a problem so I've heard, access seems to be a problem with some filling and we have the added problem that one of our party is using LPG. Are there any decent accessible filling stations on our chosen route?

What are you driving? Seriously, any normal outfit will have no problem. The fuel stations are the same as in the UK, the only time you may experience difficulties is if you try to take a large outfit into some supermarket stations as these are designed to restrict access to large vehicles. Of course these do offer the cheapest prices but if you drop the van then you have no problem. If you run on unleaded do not use the chepaest variety as the octane level is very low, you need to use the better grade at 97 octane or you may experience loss of power. If diesel then no problems.

You should have no problem getting petrol but as over here a few lpg places are too tight for a car towing a caravan. Probably 8 out of 10 were ok.
