Route to Craigie Gardens from A69

Hi Going from Newcastle upon Tyne (A69) to Craigie Gardens CC club site. Can anyone tell me best route for towing? From memory think the A75/A76 is a bad road. Thanks

best route by far,,,,,north A74,head for Glasgow through to M77 all the way down to Ayr,,,try to avoid rush hour going through glw..after 1000 hrs anf before 1500 hrs youll be fine

Hi Fiona, we went up to Craigie gardens from Lancashire at the end of May and we went A75 and A76 and found it no problem at all.

We went up on a Saturday and came back on a Sunday it was school half term holiday week and it was a vry quiet road in fact it was one of the most pleasent trips we have had this year.

When you get to the site try and get a pitch on the toilet block side that way you will get the sun [if there is any] all day and late into the evening, the other side of the site is in the shade by 4.00pm.

hope this helps.
