Scotland with the kids

Hi everyone

We are travelling to Northern Ireland in August and are staying 2 nights at Drummore on the way there and 2 nights in a CL in Castle Douglas on the way back. Has anyone been to these areas and could you recommend anywhere suitable nearby for us to visit with the kids (aged 3&5)?

Thanks for any help!

Angel

Hi Angel,

If you get good weather you won't need to leave the site at Drummore. You are right on a lovely safe beach where the kids can run about to their heart's content.

Port Logan nearby is a lovely little place ,also with a nice beach to have a picnic on.

I think that will cover 2 nights.

Can't help with Castle Douglas.....but the Club site always has a good information room with tourist leaflets etc.to help you.
