Hi, we are looking for a good site for next summer season in the Exeter / Cheddar area , not too far off the M5. We would ideally like a pub within walking distance too. :c)

Does anyone have any recommendations. We have no children so not too fussed about child friendly facilities at all.

Thanks in advice for any help.

Regards.

K.

As you have no kids, I can heartily recommend Cheddar Bridge Caravan Site, right on the southern tip of Cheddar.

Adults only, immaculately maintained and really friendly owners. A three or four minute walk from the supermarket, around a five to ten minute walk from a plentiful supply of pubs/restaurants, and only around fifteen minutes walk from Cheddar Gorge itself.

We'll definitely be going back there...

Hi Dale, we agree with you. Cheddar Bridge is a fab site , really clean and spot on with location. We stayed there for a few nights a cpl of years ago and are going back this september. I have already contacted them to see if they would do a seasonal pitch or storage but they cannot due to their license (

The lady has said that the farmer next door does storage of van s , but we are not sure if the caravan insurance would be valid at such a place.

We will have to investigate further.

The adults only sites are really good all in all, and we have seen what appears to be a fab one nr Bristol , and another nr Glastonbury.

Can't wait to get started.

Cheers for the reply.

regards Kate and Andy.
