Currently planning trip to Germany for this August - thinking of night ferry Harwich/Hook of Holland (home in Norwich), spending a week in Rudesheim, weekend at Koblenz for Rhine in Flames (yes it will be packed!), then a week on the Moselle possibly Cochem/Bernkastel. Don't need entertainment and no kids to worry about! - Any suggestions/recommendations especially suitable sites on the Moselle much appreciated.

Vince when we took the caravan to the Mosel we stopped at Camping Kueser Werth which is situated right on the river on Kues side of the river of Bernkastel-Kues. It was very good and in ideal situation for visiting Bernkastel. If you have not been here before it is a beautiful little town. Live quite near you in Suffolk.
