skye c&cc site

Visited the site for 5 days just over a week ago, good weather. The site has just come into the C&CC system as a Francise site and as a result now gets booked up. One visitor arrived who couldn't get a pitch and was harranging the site assistant, supplied by C&CC to help the franchisee in the first season, demanding to know how many non members were on the site using such bad language he was ignored. There have been more hard standings provided but really need more because if it is very wet the grass can be difficult in fact some large camper vans were not allowed on grass and parked at the entrance of the site. We were in a caravan on grass but got off OK, plenty of offers of help if needed Saying this the site is in a pretty spot at the side of the Loch (no midges when we were there)about 12 miles from Portree which has a well stocked modern COOP store The facilities building is dated but everything inside has been renewed.

Campted a week there way back about 2005 when it was owned by Ben and Rhonda a great couple. Nice location, midge`s were not a problem when we were there the first week in July.

thankyou to you all, we would definately book before we go. it might be later than july now, but still intend going up in next 3 months or so, thankyou again. ED
