Hi Tina

I was in a nice place enjoying myself but now it's back to reality.

Not planning on going anywhere now till easter, Im going to cancel the new year bash. Don't fancy it now. I'm working mostly over christmas.

Looking forward to meeting you by the way, I think we will have a good laugh, looking forward to the old wine tasting. Hey - did golden boy turn up when you went away at half term?

Hi Tina

Well, I wonder if he actually is a caravanner at all. Maybe he's the other too you suggested! LOL

p.s. Hope you're bringing plenty of vino to the meet. Looked on the Merseyside Fire Service website today, they are probably the best Fire Service for delivering services and initiatives in the country.

While I'm not worried about PC turning up and collating evidence to pass on to their lawyers, I agree that the event should be written down and put on display. Perhaps Lisa and Roy could put pen to paper, after all these are the peeps organising the show. I would also like to see each caravan include a paragraph or two for a balanced viewpoint. Clive could use his considerable talents to describe the "lets get drunk fast" evening also known as the wine taste, while Steve can repeat the laughs that are bound to occur on the off road course. With any luck we should be encouraged enough to organise another later in the year.

Hi Lol and everyone else

I think that's a great idea. I'm sure Roy and I could document the event and take a few paragraphs from everyone.

I agree we should take some photos (although I don't have my photo taken, you'll see why when you meet me!).

*Can we have a volunteer with a decent digital camera please who will be responsible for photo shoots?

*Roy, are you ok act as journalist with me? (I have a dictaphone somewhere, I'll bring it along).

*We need to organise something for the children, any ideas? Could participants post the ages of their children on here and state whether boy or girl. I have a friend who is a teacher and comes up with all sorts of ideas, I'll ask her.

*We need to get some prizes for the children too.

*Which night are we having the wine tasting*

*Are we having a bbq on another night/s?

Are there any other things we need to think of?

*Who is bringing along gazebo's (Clive suggested some of us bring them so we can use them as a meeting place etc?

I've copied this over to events.

Wine taste not on the night before off roading.

At least one BBQ, but will have to wing that one as it depends on the weather, might be an idea to have the wine taste on the same night though.

No kids in our caravan (he's in the RAF now) but would participate and maybe borrow one for the duration.

Do you want donations for the Easter eggs before we go Lisa or buy them when we get to site?

With reference to the off roading, is that likely to be going ahead, does anyone have any info?

Does anyone know the area, with a group outing in mind, perhaps a zoo?

I'll bring the easter eggs with me, I don't need the cash beforehand. When we sort out what we are doing for the children, I'll get prizes (they'll be a prize for every child, but don't tell them that).

The West Midland Safari & Leisure Park is open from 10.00am, 7 days each week, including Bank Holidays, up to 4th November 2005. The Leisure Area, with a host of family fun rides and attractions, opens at 11.00am. Admission costs

lisa, we have a boy 9 and girl 5,the wine tasting how many bottles do you want us to bring, it might only be 1 of us coming over to the wine tasting and barbecue, as our son tends not to mix with others very well, he spents a lot of time in the caravan playing on ps2, so he needs 1 of us supervising him for his safety, but if you like, we don't mind you all using our awning for the wine tasting if you can't get a gazebo, that way we both can come.

mark and sharon.
