Hi Lh

Not knowing the area ,is there a military base close by they are normally quite keen to help in these sort of circumstances (K.A.P.E.)..Keeping the Army in the Public Eye.They could be worth a try .In so far as letting us have a marquee for the week end ,erecting/dismantling would come with it .Surley they would be worth a try.

Indeed but your going to need some publicity if your going to go cap in hand for this.

Brian reminded me of this in his reply to my other post of this evening.

Sorry to comment on a possible site and then disappear but I've been a tad busy with work (Motorcycle Show coming up), getting the SLROC newsletter compiled and out to members and marshalling/taking part in our events.

Bearing in mind the above, can we specify any dates so I can check on commitments.

You'd best not rely on me without dates because of the above (except for the m/c show)

If you want space, good showers, close to intersting town, have you thought of Stratford upon Avon racecorse? It is quite a large place for pitching.

Hi Dean

The dates are confirmed as:

Friday 14 April, Saturday 15 April, Sunday 16 April 2006 (3 nights)as it's a bank holiday, each unit has to stay for three nights, there is the option to stay longer at the rally rate if required, but that's up to each individual to decide.

Marie - thanks for the suggestion but the venue is Lickhill.

Thanks.

Lisa.

Hi Dean

Just read your other post, I take it you won't be joining us at easter, goodbye and good luck.

Lisa.

Just to clear things up in my mind, is the plan for 3 nights from Friday evening, departing Monday morning or from Thursday evening, departing Sunday?

Hi Lutz

Yes, the plan is to arrive on Friday and stop for : Fri night, Sat night, Sun night, departing Monday.

You can stay longer either side of those dates at the rally rate

These myths seem like a funny question but were we all stop on the sit. Are we using the rally field or are we stopping on the many part of the sit.

Mark

Hi Lisa

Have been reading all your responses for your rally, hubby's just caught me again on the forum. So I've briefly filled him in on the rally and some of the members.

He says it sounds like a good idea and fancies coming along too.

Did you sort out the deposit angle with the campsite?

I'll get intouch with the mod for form and location of the site.

Hi Marie

Hope you can join us as I think it will be a good laugh.

For clarification:

We are not calling ourselves a rally as that has implications. The rates for Easter will be:

Caught? You were caught? Was you doing something naughty?

Just a thought, is anyone coming from the magazine,Im sure they would be more than welcome....ps, my left sides best for photos..(",) (.")...Brian.

Just had my hearing test Dave, passed with flying colours (unlike my colour vision) despite being selectively deaf. So no need to keep saying, "hear hear", as we do, quite nicely.
