Hi has anyone been to st helens in the park caravan site north yorkshire we are going there for the easter weekend and were wondering if anyone had been/had any views on it thanks
 
hello carl, yes we have been it was a few years ago, but it was ok, we considered going again in a couple of weeks time, so you will have to let me know, its not far from scarborough, and if its the same people who run it they were very nice. ED
 
we went a few years ago and our overall stay was ok but when the children wanted a shower there was no one at reception so we went to the warden and duty to ask for the key and he very unpolitly told us he was eating tea and asked us to come back later.

would agree with you there keith been to vale of pickering twice its a much better site

Hi thanks for your replies we usually do go to the vale of pickering but we left it a bit late to book as there were a few of us they could not accomodate us have to agree it is a far better site! we found st helens to be a nice site most of the staff were friendly and helpful we would go back but the vans seem to be a bit more packed together than vale of pickering (wont leave it so late next time)
