THE LAWNS

did anyone see the new lodge by wessex group---the INDIAN OCEAN HIDEAWAY(approx £230,000 sited) wow what a stunner.its mine if i win the lottery(twice).

The Lawns tourer show in Hull also has statics and 'lodges' on display.

I didn't see the palace mentioned by the OP - but I bet it was quite something.

Thanks for the info. I assumed it was some form of holiday home in the Far East.

Is the 230k for a week or a month?

Somebody mentioned Hull. Maybe it is aimed at John Prescott, he has that sort of money for doing a lot of damage.

Whoa!!!! - John Prescott (or 'Uncle John', as many of his constituents like to call him) may be rich - but his nature is just as full of Socialist compassion as it has always been.

He's a true friend of the common people - whether at lathe or plowshare, mine or mill, labouring men can rejoice in the knowledge that Uncle John cares for him. Deeply, and sincerely.

His bank account may be full to overflowing but so, too, is his big heart - brimful with love for working people and a burning desire to work his frail body into an early grave in order to better their lot.

Luckily, most Socialists are like John - we should all give thanks for them in our nightly prayers.

Yes we all love Prescott around here, especially the time I was repairing a puncture outside his house and he sent security out to move me. I took great pleasure in driving past his house when they dressed it up with solar panels tho....

Nice one John

I expect you were relieved that John didn't come outside and punch you?

You don't honestly think that uncle John (a man who uses his limo to travel 400 yards at party conferences) would be remotely interested in a brand like 'Walkers', do you!

Now, if you had a packet of Jag Chips (full of proletarian goodness, to help you go that extra mile) you would certainly gain at least 3 seconds for your getaway as John devoured them.

Although, I strongly suspect he's more of a pie sort of person, myself.

Perhaps the moral is, never dawdle past John's place without a having a bag of Holland's steak & kidney puddings about your person, just in case....

I've heard that your best bet is to simply direct him to the ship shop on the Ings Road Estate - he gets to queue jump there, much to the delight of the people in the queue.
