Is the spanner Metric or Imperial. ?

Does it matter if it's metric or imperial - as it's adjustable.

I did once remove the head and replace all the valves on a Fiat (all metric) using a set of AF Imperial ring spanners - no torque wrench so just very tight!

Sadly I used to have three sets of tools😱
Set 1 was at work and was the best I could afford.
Set 2 was on the boat and was good quality.
Set 3 was in the house and was all the rejects from 1 and 2.
Now down to one and a half sets.
Set 1 is now in the house
The caravan set is just a set of screwdrivers and a socket set plus my Victorinox Multi tool

I have a mate that deserves a degree in the operation and handling of any hammer.he has an amazing ability to render anything that can be restored to useless scrap with one one skillful and strategic hefty blow

I recently got this from Screwfix Magnusson carbon steel sledge hammer 10lb you can do a lot of damage with this.🙏

I also had the thought this morning in the last 20 years of owning a car I've never needed a tool to fix anything.

I'm hoping the same applies for the van however I will take a few just in case

To be fair we have decided we will only do hard standing and well resourced sites. So genuinely what's the worst that could happen?

Anything remotely serious or detrimental to us being in the van we just got home

Thats an almost impossible question to answer as its very much owner and location dependent.

It can be like a Pandoras box, a couple of loose screws on a door, you tighted up three and strip the last one, get the wooden toothpicks out the fill the stripped hole, then you start checking doors, Oh the light in the wardrobe isn't coming on, change the bulb, notice the aerial wires are slack to the amplifier, Then the wardrobe door doesn't work. Fixing that the bar across the wardrobe is loose.

It goes on, only stopping when SWMBO, say sit down will you, and stop faffing about,

I find that what can happen will happen, usually when it's raining and everywhere is shut till Monday 🙂
