Tow bar clearance from bumper

Hi we've just recently purchased a 2015 volvo d5 awd, we've had to fit a tow bar, my husband bought a witter detachable tow bar and the ball seems very close to the bumper, I've took a picture, can you let me know what you think, grateful for any advice, thanks20260323_110543.jpg
 
Recommended Minimum Clearance
  • General Requirement: Approximately 65mm – 68mm from the centre of the towball to the bumper.
  • Specific Model Requirements (Centre of ball to nearest point):
 
Above measurement for the 3004 hitch works out spot on with my motor,as my ball center is 8 cm from bumper which gives me just over 1 cm clearance. So it will be very close fit.Although the tape measure reads nearer 7.3cm to my eyesight angle
