The blower will only run on the low setting.

The cable which connects the fan control to the pcb on the fan contains five wires. At each end of the cable, there is a connector which pushes on to five matching tab terminals. Your trouble might lie in the fact that the cable may have become dislodged at either end. If you have recently removed the front cover, that could have dislodged one end. A simple check worth doing first.

Hello Jason,

This is the second problem with your caravan, the nature of which makes me wonder when it was last fully serviced?

The problem with your fridge is quite puzzling, as if it works for 30 min before going out, it proves the gas supply is ok, so it must b something else. Again the time it takes to fail almost suggests its something thats changes over time, and half an hour is quite a long period for most common faults.

Do you have any winter covers on the outside of the fridge vents? These could be restricting the air flow to the back of the fridge, which eventually allows flue product to build up enough to stifle the flame.

Jason,
Like the others I suspect your caravan needs the entire gas system checking, servicing and cleaning out maybe with some replacement parts.
You will see from this link the words of wisdom from our Damian who spent his life as a qualified AWS Engineer. I can only echo his advice👍😢

As you will see from other threads, the actual gas appliances are not 'serviced ' during a normal caravan service. They will do a function test , but will not dismantle and service the individual appliance's unless you specifically demand it, and of course there is a cost to this.

Especially with the problem you have with the fridge, there is s possibility the burner inside the fridge may not be burning cleanly, and that will means its producing more Carbon Monoxide ( the silent killer) than its allowed to. If the fridge vents are working correctly and the fridge has been there should be no real danger, but if the vents aren't correctly set there is a serious risk that the exhausts CO might enter the caravan's living space.

You should really get the all the gas applainces properly checked for your safety.

It will be ok to use the fridge on mains power as long as the gas isolation valve is turned off.

Sorted now it was a faulty gas regulator giving out low gas pressure thank for your help

If your regulator was giving out such low pressure it could not sustain a flame on a fridge burner, you would have noticed very poor performance on all your other gas applainces.
Please tell us how you established it was the regulator?

It sounds a bit like the regulator contamination problem - where material leaches from the high-pressure pipe between the cylinder and regulator and then drains into the regulator.

If this is the cause, as well as replacing the regulator, the high pressure hoses need to be re-routed so they drain back into the cylinder, not the regulator.

But if it was sufficient to cause a problem for a low powered burner such as that in a fridge, it would have had a major effect on other more powerful burners. The OP has not mentioned such a problem.

I looked on you tube and did a cooker test turned 1 on then 2 and the flames reduced then put 3 on and there was hardly any flame at all so it had to be the regular
