I for one have no problem with anyone being Mod - I do not want to do it.
If Kanga does it - will it effect us? No as long as he abides by the rules. It may even do him some good.

I will not post anything against your becoming a Moderator, but I do not think you are even remotely the best person for the role.I agree - I do not think I would want to give up using the Forum as I do not think anyone can effectively "police" themselves.
As for it "ruling me out" Dave, - I feel truly honoured that my consistant advocation of fairness and respect of ALL peoples views and my firm believe in an individuals freedom of choice in all matters has so got up your nose that you simply cannot miss an opportunity to make a snide remark.

assuming I become assistant moderator (even though there are minority of users who do not embrace this), it may be a clash of interest to mix with forum users as it may affect my impartiality towards certain members of the forum.Kanga, are you coming to the Forum rally next easter?
As you may know I am a man of principal and would not like other forum users to think I could be swayed by their personality or their extreme views.
If I am unsuccessful I would like to attend the meeting, but a little unsure at the moment as we may be going to Sicily for the easter

You seem to be opposed to his possible new role, I am not sure why this is.

Just a thought but can we all reach a compromise. If we delete Tow Cars from the forum Kanga wont go off on one and all will be happy. I'm sure that Kanga, when breaking those rocks, had time to deliberate on his misdoings and is now a totally reformed character. In fact I sense an aura of innocence in his recent postings so much so that he may even be eligible for Sainthood.
I'm surprised at you Dave. Do you really want to see a castrated Kanga on the Forum? Because that is what they will do to him, no more blatant swings at the mod, no more cries for help in the 4x4 debate no more total disregard for the truth, Kanga will become toothless and largely ignored. Lol, I am my own man and do not wish to be compared to Kanga. I dont always see eye to eye with his views and therefore do not need be in competition with him for being in the limelight. Although we sit next to each other, literally, we do not sway each other in what we post in any way.
