Weighbridge

Most councils have public weighbridge details on their websites. Google UKGOV “Find a weighbridge ”. Enter postcode and you’re away.

In our area all the weighbridges listed by the council as public are sited at commercial premises. There isn’t a council owned weighbridge available fir public use.

Camel I agree they are all licenced by the council as they used to come under Trading Standards. They serve two main purposes. One to ensure that goods traded are accurately weighed for sale-buy transactions. The other, to ensure vehicles aren’t overloaded. My nearest one is less than a mile from home. It’s a major recycling business. But absolute nightmare to navigate around with trucks loading, unloading and queuing. Done it once and relay now in spreadsheets self weighing and a bit of discipline. Doesn’t necessarily include Mrs OC. 😱

Let us now how you get/got on, that's only down the road from me and would be good to know of they're a friendly bunch
