I view of the news today that completion of the new Wembley stadium was running late ( only confirming what the press has been certain of for a long time) should the civil engineering term of estimated completion time be renamed "Best Guess"?

What made me laugh was the Managing Director, Martin Tidd, of the company Multiplex saying last May that the stadium would be finished and HIS seat would be in place, hope he was watching the BBC 6 Oclock news. By the way lolly the builders are an Australian company.
I don't doubt Martin Tidd LB, his seat probably is in place, in fact he is probably sitting in it right now thinking,
"well thats my seat in place only another 89,999 to go"

Paddy Power have said they have been caught with their pants down re betting on Wembley completion dates.
Wembley workers are reported to have made thousands on bets that the job would not be on time!
PP said that not one bet has been placed for it to be on time
Seems like the real power is with the workers, so much for management ;-)
